So what does this mean for you?
Sales prices and number of sold properties was up in November on a year over year basis as are the number of sold properties, and pending sales. Expect to see a lot of closings in coming weeks. Interestingly, median sales price for single family homes was down compared to last month, but condo median prices were up. November typically marks the beginning of a slow down in number of listings and sales for the holidays, as buyers often don’t search between Thanksgiving and the new year. Look for a bit of a slow down next month, and for it to pick back up in late January.
